Monica May is an editorial and advertising photographer whose style has been described as cinematic in nature. Monica draws much of her inspiration from film, seeing each project as part of a larger narrative. Her work is expansive, broadening assignments into full stories at every chance. For her, every shoot represents an opportunity to explore humanity and composition, telling human stories in each moment.
Monica’s clients include Nike, Under Armour, W Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Bust, Theme, Marie Claire, Crystal Cruise Lines, and Persol.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
She lives in Los Angeles.
